Kate Silverton and Mike Heron

For most of her illustrious journey with BBC, Kate Silverton has had the unconditional support of her husband, Mike Heron. While it was love at first sight for him, she found him attractive and, over time, had an inkling that he probably was the one for her.

It took Kate five years to get over her commitment phobia and marry the love of her life in 2010. Unlike her decision to settle down, she’s someone who jumps headfirst into the fray of things.
