Marisa Tomei – 1964
Born to Italian parents in Brooklyn, New York, Tomei graduated from Boston University before starting her acting career in soap and theater. She subsequently made her film debut in 1984’s As The World Turns.
Following small parts and insignificant roles in films and TV shows, Tomei scored a home run with her Academy Award-winning performance in the 1992 My Cousin Vinny, where she portrayed actor Joe Pesci’s brash on-screen lover. Notable films on Tomei’s resume also include The Wrestler, In the Bedroom, and What Women Want. She is set to play Fran in Robert Burdeau’s upcoming crime thriller Delia’s Gone.
