Drew Barrymore – 1975
Born in a family of actors, Drew Blythe Barrymore undoubtedly took nuggets of wisdom from her father, John Drew Barrymore, and mother, Jaid Barrymore, both in the industry themselves. Her troubled childhood was plagued by substance abuse, which hurt her career.
After co-founding her production company Flower Films in 1995, Barrymore was able to revive her floundering career. She got her huge break in the years following, starring in movies like 1999’s Never Been Kissed, the Charlie’s Angels trilogy, Going the Distance, and Blended. Today, Barrymore is also an accomplished producer with projects like The Drew Barrymore Show, Shoot to Kill, and Blooms.
