Born into a family of thespians, it should come as no surprise how Kate Elizabeth Winslet’s career has skyrocketed and how she has kept herself relevant today, 24 years after her 1997’s blockbuster smash hit Titanic. At 11 years old, Winslet started acting lessons, occasionally appearing on stage, before getting her shot in 1995’s Heavenly Creatures.
Winslet describes her career choices as bold, and we definitely agree. The Oscar-winning beauty holds the record for the youngest actress to win four Academy Awards. Her notable movies include The Reader, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Revolutionary Road. She is set to star in James Cameron’s 2022 sequel Avatar 2.
