Beyoncé – 1981
Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter is an American musician, songwriter, and actress who started dancing and singing from a very young age. She got her first big break in the late 1990s when the girl group, Destiny’s Child, began to take off.
After the band split in 2005, Beyonce pursued a career as a solo artist, and her 2003 album Dangerously in Love was a smashing hit. In April 2008, she married hip hop legend Jay-Z, and the power couple has three children together. 2021 has been a record-breaking year for the Single Ladies artist; she now has a record 28 Grammy Awards to her name, more than any other female artist.
