Charlize Theron – 1975

Born in Benoni, a city in Johannesburg, Africa, Charlize Theron started her career as a ballet dancer. Due to the scarcity of showbiz opportunities, however, she moved to Europe. She subsequently gathered all of her savings to buy a one-way ticket to the United States and began a career in dancing and modeling.

Her career began to take off after an unforgettable performance in 1997, The Devil’s Advocate, and Hollywood soon came calling. Her notable on-screen appearances include Mad Max: Fury Road, Monster, The Old Guard, Bombshell, and Atomic Blonde. She is currently producing its sequel Atomic Blonde 2, along with her horror-thriller Two Eyes Staring.
