Morgan Fairchild – AIDS Activist

Morgan Fairchild was among the most popular soap opera actresses in the ’80s, thanks to her roles on Falcon Crest, Flamingo Road, and Paper Dolls. She began her acting career playing Jennifer Pace on the daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow. Today, Morgan is strongly involved in raising awareness of AIDS-related issues, and she also promotes awareness of environmental protection.

Julianne Moore – 1960

As a child, Julie Anne Smith, known professionally as Julianne Moore, moved a lot with her family due to her father’s military service. She eventually settled in Boston and graduated from the Boston University’s School of Performing Arts, later moving to New York to explore a career in theater.

From 1983 to 1991, she starred in forgettable plays and TV series, giving her first noteworthy performance in Todd Haynes’ 1995 movie, Safe. Since then, Moore has shown off her acting chops in Chloe, Crazy, Stupid Love, and 30 Rock.  She is set to star in Stephen Chbosky’s Dear Evan Hansen, with a projected release date of September 2021.
